    o_o;

    Okay well I definitely wouldn't kill her.

    'Kay, get a gerbil from the petstore. Get the tiniest, scrawniest, wimpiest one you can possibly find (these critters can be savages, I bred them for six years). The pet shop will probably not sell to you if you tell them what it's for, but that depends on where you do to.

    Try it now.

    If it still doesn't work, take her to the vet. If the vet is bewildered, then maybe everyone else is right.
    Stand up for what's right, even if you're standing alone.
    I'm clearly the only crazy person here

    That's awesome!! Did you do anything different to entice her to eat? Or did she finally just "get it"?

    Yay!!!

    Was there any trigger or just out of the blue she went for it?

    I'm glad you had the patience and heart to keep trying with her.

    How do you force feed?
    Its been over 16 years since I have had to take care of a snake and I want to make sure I do everything correct. If I had not taken this snake, it would have been killed.

    Congratz! My new 1700g girl I got 3 weeks ago hasn't eaten for me yet, and didn't eat for a month prior. She's not even close to being ready for assist feeding, but hearing that your little one ate all on her own gives me hope that one day she'll get hungry enough and just go for it...
