Dimpled eggs...I'm a bit worried
Well here's where I started...

This is where I am now, on day 51...

My humidity has always been pretty high (95-100), temps are being steadily kept between 88-90.
I've candled each egg and can see nice strong red veins, but I feel like the eggs just aren't filling out the way they should if there is a nice big baby inside.
I'm getting a bit worried and wondering where I went wrong, if I did... What do you guys think?

Re: Dimpled eggs...I'm a bit worried
I used hatchrite and had dimpled eggs (looked just like that) by day 32. I had to switch to vermiculite in the middle of incubation and I just had all 6 pip today...so day 51 they are almost fully cooked, so I think they are just fine!

Re: Dimpled eggs...I'm a bit worried
Hi,
Hopefully little heads soon.
Mine dented fairly badly last time but they all hatched ok - one of them was almost flat. This in a fish tank incubator with 100% humidity all the way through.

Re: Dimpled eggs...I'm a bit worried
Nathan,
That is exactly what eggs should look like on day 51. Put your nerves to rest. They are realesing water, and softening the shells to pip. You should see some slices in the next few days.

You're good. They usually start to dimple a couple weeks before they hatch.
