I wasn't so much talking about initial start up costs, but total costs like I described in the beginning.

It just costs more to raise your own rats if you have only a few snakes to feed.

The cost of housing and feeding your rats overall costs more than just buying bulk FT online or a live rat weekly from pet store.

That's been my point in this whole thread.
