Just look on-line for other places too. Mites are a pain in the tail to snakes and stress them out. It's good to take care of this as soon as you can.
An Acu-rite thermometer/hygrometer is a good thing to use since those measuring dials are always wrong. Acurites are digital and can be found for about 12 dollars at places like Lowes, Wal-Mart, etc.
Snakes are escape artists and so Edie brought up a good point about needing to have the lid really clamped on tightly, or a couple of bungee cords maybe?????
