what we did for my mom, aunt, and cusin, was we showed them how loving they were, brough them around them alot, and slowly asked them if they would like to pet them, things like that.
some people just want NOTHING to do with snakes... but if you continue to show them how loving and doctile they are then some people start liking them more...
