so far every time my BP goes for the booty end of his dinner, he ends up spittin it out and swirling around until he's in a comfortable face first position. i agree with everyone who says let nature take it's course if you're feeding live. i feed live and just monitor and make sure everything is kosher!

Mine do butt first sometimes. It does take them longer. Mainly getting thier mouth around all those legs that are in the way. It's not going to hurt them. Just makes feeding time longer for you. You could put a timer on, then 1/2 hour or hour later come back and feed the second mouse then. That way you aren't standing around waiting.
