    Re: Opinions wanted please..

I have many praises- a lot of them others have mentioned. I like the way it is written and the verbiage that was used. I like the feel of the site. I like that it si clean and uncluttered.

One glaring change that I would make is on the 'Collection' page: Please consider putting the headers above the pictures. This is the way our brains work and would be helpful to see the header at the head and the pictures in the category below the header. On the 'Available' page you have the header and then the info correctly and logically placed.

The other thing is just my own thing and I just know I'm going to be flamed, char-broiled over this but... The Confederate Flag.

Okay so before you clobber me, I will say that I was born in Pennsylvania, lived a bit in Connecticut, grew up in Maryland, lived several years in Virginia, and went to an awesome bluegrass festival in Union Grove, North Carolina for several years. My second favorite place on earth is western Kentucky. That explained, the confederate flag, for me, represents oppression and hatred and intolerance.

BT, I am not suggesting that you espouse such ideology, but I am wondering if you might be off-putting a segment of potential customers with the inclusion of a flag that stirs such negative emotions in a large sector of the American population.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way.................... I wish you knew me... Maybe I ought to have pm'd this to you.... crap.

I love it BT....The logo is great too.
I understand what Starmom is talking about the Stars and Bars...but the rebel flag is synonomous with the South.
and after all, you are "BT..the rebel from the South"!

I guess I need some schooling then. What else does it stand for except to espouse the ideology of the confederate army?

I have to side with starmom on that one. It seemed like an awfully rude comment for a minor disagreement. The confereate flag can be both good and bad. It does represent both the good attitudes of the southern folks as well as the ignorant attitudes of some. BTW, I'm a Yankee.

    Re: Opinions wanted please..

Very well done website BT. I don't see a problem with the flag being on the site, you are in fact "The rebel from the south...". It may have a negative history, but in this case I really think it's just a symbol for southern pride.

If people don't realize you're just a good ol' boy trying to breed and sell snakes, and that the flag has no other meaning behind it for you and your business, maybe thats not the type of customer you want anyways. From talking with you, you're definitely a good guy, and I say keep the flag.

Sometimes the oversensitivity and over analyzing gets down right ridiculous. You can't always please the masses, do what you want to do and call it good!
