Make sure you put a screen around the bulb to prevent burns. You'll want a blue or red colored light instead. Otherwise, your snake will get too cold, when you turn the bulb off to give him a "night". BPs do well with just natural lighting, so if the bulb is for heat, get a red or a blue one, so it can stay on all the time w/o stressing the snake.

Balls are very shy. He's in the corner, not moving, because there's no cover protection---too much open space. Get a couple IDENTICAL hides, that are JUST big enough for him to squeeze into. One on the warm side (82-84*F) and one on a hot end (92-94*). Actually, if you chip/hammer a hole into your water bowl, and get another one just like it, those would be good hides to start with. A lot of ppl use the trays of clay planters as hides.

The water bowl is good, but doesn't necessarily need to be that big. But it won't hurt, if that's the only kind you have.

Since you say they don't sell UTH where you are, look at maybe getting a human heating pad, but be sure to use a thermostat.

I don't see any thermometers, or a hygrometer. ?? How are you monitoring the temps? Where are you from? Can you get a digital 3-in-1 from a local store??? Or maybe buy online. A lot of ppl here, and I have 16+ units, have really good luck with the Acurite brand of 3-in-1. It's two thermometers and a hygrometer in one. Unit w/hygrometer in the tank on one side, the "outdoor" probe on the other to capture cool/hot/ humidity all at once.

Re: New Owner / Cage Pic's [Need Opinion&advice]

Thanks alot for your help !!! i have made some changes
it doesn't look pretty but atleast its better for the snake, i have closed the sides of the tank and behind so only front is visible , i have changed my 100 watt bulb to 60 watt bulb and moved it to the lower left of the tank, i have it inside this carton[i dont know what u call it] so the snake cant make contact with it.A hiding place as u can see... the problem is now i read that ball pythons have very sensitive eyes , and this bulb is quite strong .... and the only "night" the snake can have is inside its hiding box where the light can't go all inside, what do you think, should i get those human heat pads mybe and get rid of the bulb?......
sorry for my bad english here are the pics:

the 60 watt light ..for heat..mybe it could harm snakes eyes?!

Um, if those are stick on thermometers, you're going to get an idea of the temperatures at that spot on the glass. You need the temperatures on the ground hot side and cool side.

Good job creating more coverage for your pet. Like Schlyne said, those thermometers will only monitor the glass, and being the needle/analog, won't be very accurate. I had those kind and the stick-on, graduated color boxes (from aquariums) and comparing to a digital, there was a VERY large difference in accuracy.

30*C is good for your COOL side (22*C is still too cold). Your hot side needs to be at least (minimum) 34*C. If you don't get your low temp up above 26.6, you're increasing the chances of your snake getting a respiratory infection (RI).
