Oh gods- I hate these scenarios! I ha something similar happen last week, and I knew the snake was probably hungry, but I chose to not feed until this week.
I really don't think there is a right or wrong answer here. You could try again in a day or two and if the snake refuses, wait until your normal feeding day.

Mmmm, your snake sounds really stressed. What's going on?

Thaw near the snake enclosure until the rodent is smooshy. Open the bag and really pre-scent well. Hit the head of the rodent with a hair dryer or other heat source, for about a minute. Serve.

    Re: refuses food again

try putting the frozen rodent in a zip lock bag. Then boil a pot of water, as soon as the water is boiling, put it off and out the ziplock bag in.
Wait until it is completely thawed. Before you give it to the snake, make sure it is not too hot for you to hold in your hand.

Dangle it directly in front of his face.

    Hope it helps.

well i defrosted it in hot water for 2 hours then put it on top the tank under the heat lamp for 30 minutes.i just tried dangling in front of his hide and he investigated but he eventually went back in.i put it on top of his other hide under the heat lamp but i think if i leave it in overnight i should put it on the cool side im going to wait an hour and try dangling it again

Ewww. I betcha cooked it. Bleck.
Just a day long defrost (or a couple of hours depending on the size) until it is smooshy. Then blast it with a hair dryer on its head to bring up the heat signature.
