Will be a 30 gal glass tank big enough for a full grown ball python?

If it's a 30 gal BREEDER tank (@36x18x13), long low and wide, then yes unless the adult BP is a big female, then you might want a 40 gal. Just make sure that the tank height is low - excess height=wasted space and harder temp/humidity control.

Mmm, I think i'ts an aquarium tank, I can't afford something bigger right now, the economy is sooo bad, but I want to acclimate my ball the best I can.

What it happens is that the real reptile tanks are very expensive, because they have a screen top already, but there is a huge difference between a reptile glass tank and an aquarium tank, the aquarium tanks are cheaper than the others, but you need to buy the top for separated, I know that most are taller than the intended for reps, but my question is: Would be really important the glass tank height?

    Re: Tank Size

Yes. Height matters a lot, especially in a glass tank, because more height = more heat rising away from where the snake spends their time. For certain snakes, like tree boas, carpet pythons and even corn snakes, you want some height because they climb. For Ball Pythons, however, you need more floor space and little height since they are burrow dwellers.

36x12x18 should be just fine, but ideally the 12 and 18 would be switched so the width was 18 and the height 12, but those extra 6 inches shouldn't hurt much if you make sure the tank is insulated and the screen top foil treated.

And yeah, I know what you're saying about the 'reptile tanks' vs aquariums costs. I have 4 tanks working right now and only 2 are the 'made for reptiles' kind. Both work just fine as long as you prepare them properly.

Here is a 'real' reptile CAGE: http://www.reptilebasics.com/2x3-Cag...h-p-16286.html. They aren't glass....
