too soon for a bigger tank?

i was wondering if it would be a good idea to starting building my 40 or 30 gallon breeder tank for my bp.he is almost a year old about 10 months.he is 33+inches long and hes big enough to eat the bigger sized small rats without leaving a lump.he only went off feed 2 times but he only skipped one week each time.i would say he isnt stressful snake i handle him daily never hissed or struck or balled up.i cant fit bigger hides in his 20 gallon long tank so i dont want to wait until he eats and cant fit back in his hides again then have to rush the new tank along.so what does everyone think to early or he should be ok? thanks

Get started! I'd say that if he's eating good than you are fine...
He'll prob be happy when he sees he can get into his hide with no issues lol... Good Luck.

I have my year old in a 40gallon breeder. As long as there is enough in the tank to make the snake feel safe and enclosed you should be fine.
