I was a little surprised at the German family. They sure like to eat (and drink) well.
And of course I'm going to point my kids to the picture of the Chad family the next time they stare in the packed fridge and complain "there's nothing to eat".

I rather prefer the prices of their produce as well! Man, if I could eat the same amount of food here for that little money...

Re: What the world eats
I was shocked to see the amount of food that some familys could strech over a week then others eat in a week what some eat in a month.

I didn't see any cats, dogs, monkeys or snakes in the Chinese families food group so I have to question the validity of this whole picture essay.

I'm kinda wondering about #8 -- on the bottom left they have dog & cat food. Is that for the family?
