Parasites
Our snake has a parasite on her head, as soon as I get up in the morning I'm calling the vet to get her in. In the mean time is there anything I can do for her?

Re: Parasites
I'm guessing you probably have a tick. My best suggestion would be to order some Provent a Mite.

Re: Parasites
Will this mite cause her to have a seizure? Or was she just flipping around to get it off? She was flipping, turning, rolling...etc...

Whatever this thing is, it's round and red by her head.

If she was trying to get it off, she'd be more likely to rub her head not flip. Something definitely sounds wrong in this scenario. I'd say the vet is your best bet.

Re: Parasites
I second that, the flipping and rolling doesn't sound right. I would call around to vets and tell them this can't wait.

Re: Parasites
Just an update...we had to put her down. The vet was pretty sure she had Inclusion Body Disease, which has a 100% mortality rate. So instead of watching her suffer, we did the humane thing. Thanks for all the input, it was all very helpful!!
