I usually like to take a picture, and enter it on my website's wildlife page, when I catch a new species. Well, I can't say that this is the first time I have seen or caught a Green Anole, but I thought it was a neat picture, and an act that I have never seen an Anole engaged in before. So without further ado, here are a pair of Green Anoles (Anolis carolinensis) breeding on a shavings bucket in our barn. I caught them in the act after putting our riding lawn mower up, and still had enough time to run in the house and get the camera with the dying battery. Run back in the house, and get the new battery, and snap some pics while they were still in the act. I guess it is a good thing that they lock for some time. He has a pretty good hold of her neck as well. I don't think my wife would let me do that.
