    Combo Morph Limitations?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The picture of the snake you linked looks interesting, but in my opinion, is sloppy.

I guess I am just a fan of the first Piedball. IMHO Both the stripe piedball and the one you linked above are examples of why I believe combo morphs will have limitations. Once the patern gets too complicated.... too busy.... too sloppy... they go from being a "positive different" to a "negative freekish". Know what I mean?

    Please share what you think.

    Re: Combo Morph Limitations?

Maybe too/busy/complicated/sloppy for some...others like busy & complicated, as well as simple-yet-refined.

That's one of the fantastic things about ball python morphs & combos - there truly is something for everyone! I may not like some as much as others, but I'm certainly not going to be the one trying to define "limitations" when it's all actually a matter of personal preference.

Morphs are as variable as ball python enthusiasts' opinions on them!

    Re: Combo Morph Limitations?

Please, just let me say before anyone even has a chance to reply.... I am not trying to tell anyone what is wrong and what is right. I am not trying to say that any snake is ugly because I say so... I am not trying to say anything bad about any one... or their snakes.

LOL... now that I am done with the disclaimer... I am interested in hearing others opinions.

    Re: Combo Morph Limitations?

I found it to be a little busy at first glance but the more that I look at it the more I like it. Any new morph combo will appeal to someone but not everyone. The same is true for common morphs.

    Re: Combo Morph Limitations?

Acceptance and rejoicing for diversity is what turns individualism into communities. Same with ball python morphs.
When one puts limiters on things...well....it's not correct in this case.

    Re: Combo Morph Limitations?

Limitations in that some ppl that like different BPs won't like those as much. However, there's still going to be people that go crazy for those snakes. I don't like other snakes as much as I like BPs and Bloods; however, I know there's a big market for cornsnakes and what not.

Same with dogs. I'm really into pit bulls, and these new American Bully's that have come from RE lines, Gotti lines, watchdog etc etc have really ruffled the feathers of pit bull breeders and keepers. However, there is a HUGE market for it, and a lot of ppl really enjoy those dogs..

If people want the animals, and are really into them they will be produced and people will own them. So the limitations vary from person to person, but not animal to animal I think.

    Re: Combo Morph Limitations?

Personally.......I like that one. It's just so different.
To me the morphs or combos that have the most appeal are the ones that don't look like your regular BP.

In a few years, there are going to be so many combo morphs, that they are all going to make white snakes!!!!
