I have found that the best thing to use is scotch tape. Double it over on your finger and tap it on your pants a couple of times so that it is not so adhesive (I have it more adhesive on one side and less on the other for various parts of the snake's body). It works very well for stuck eye caps. You can also try a wet cloth. Wring it out and let the snake crawl through it a couple times while you apply slight pressure. Alot of people are leary of using the scotch tape method, just take it slow and you will be fine. Good luck.

Just dampen a pillow case, put your snake in it, let him be for 10-20 minutes, then if it's still not off you can find his head and apply slight pressure. He will probably snap back as you touch his head and the friction between the damp pillow case and the stuck shed should cause it to come off.

He should be fine to let him go until his next shed. When you see him in blue bump up the humidity and he will have better luck. I usually keep a damp towel on the lid from blue until they shed (rewetting 1-2 times a day) and have had perfect sheds.

My first BP came to me with a retained eye cap. I was unable to help him remove it and he actually ended up getting it off himself just before his first shed with me. He hasn't had any trouble since.
