    Our first Royal!

Hi guys, relatively new to the forum, but thought I'd get some pics up of our first Royal, Clyde! He was given to us as he was refusing to eat, but after doing our research on here we got his setup spot on, and he's now eating and shedding fine! He's doubled in weight and size since we've had him, now weighing just about 200g's (might be more now, haven't weighed him in the past week and half)!

Sorry about the poor quality, our camera isn't up to much and the batteries were just about dead!

    When we first got him:

    Just after a shed:

His little heart that people always notice (bit out of shape here):

And a couple I took last night:

Little git would not stay still for a close up shot and this is the best I could manage

Thanks for looking, and thanks to the site in general for all the info we've found out from the very knowledgeable people on here!

    He looks great.
Sounds like you will be needing to make room for more in the future!

    Re: Our first Royal!

Reduced isn't really a "morph", just a pattern thing, made through line breeding. Kinda looks like he has an overbite in that last pic but I could be wrong. More macros on the head please??? Nice pattern on that guy though, great pickup.

    ...everyone needs a little R&R

    Thanks for the comments people!

Chase: what do you mean by "overbite"? Sorry, quite new to all this, so learning about them all the time at the mo. I'll try and get some better (in focus) shots of his head over the weekend and post up some better pics.

It's always lovely to hear of a snake finding a good home with folks that care....good for you! Do remember as you bring in more snakes that quarantine cannot be overdone. You'll want to make sure and protect that little darling from anything the new snake might bring along with it.
