    How Long

I have a corn snake which is about 5 months old and she went dull last week so I didn't feed her, the dullness lasted for about just over a week and now she's gone clear again, she's been clear for about 4 days now and still no shed , is 4 days along time to shed and roughly how many days do they stay clear until they shed??

it depends on the snake but i would try feeding her though some snakes like my boa will eat inshed. Sounds like she should shed any day now.

    Re: How Long

She'll be fine without it for a while. If she doesn't eat while in shed, then she has a reason. One of my corns, my biggest male in fact, refuses to eat while in the entire process which lasts 2-4 weeks for him. Currently he's regularly been refusing every other feeding, so I think he's ready to move up to every 10-12 day feedings.

Corns are resilient. If they don't want the food, just keep offering on a regular basis until they grab it again.
