Ok, first of all I wish I hadn't been away when this was first posted.

Second: OF COURSE people still play it!! Even tho 3.5 and especially the crud that is 4.0 have 'munchkinized' the game, it still lives on!

As if you couldn't tell, I play D&D and have since I was 5 (original 1st edition). Currently my BF runs two games online since most of our group is back in Texas. One is basic 3rd edition in a world he created that really rocks. The second is a Star Wars Saga edition game that just recently got started and is looking good.

Live RPG, or even online posted form, is the way to go game wise.
