Re: Some of my young chickens and Roos
Well, I see black white crested polish, buff orpingtons(sp?) and definetely a bunch of lovely silkies! Oh and I see one Rhode Island Red! Not sure on the dark black with white touches, hmmm...could dig through my chicken book later.
So what do I win?
Lovely beautiful chickens!

Excellent!! The black ones with white touches are young Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets. The polish rooster's name is Elvis
We have another crested roo, but I don't have any pics of him yet.
A few dogs, a bunch of chickens, 3 ducks, and 2 Pygmy goats

Ah of course! The only SLW I had died young, so I never got to see them all grown up. I do have five young polish right now, two black and white like your roo, and three golden. They're starting to get the "hair-dos", so I'll be certain to share pictures soon.
Now if only I could come steal some of those marvelous silkies...

Nice chix! The only one that I could personally ID is the RI red; I have a rooster of that breed. I love having chix around. Mine will go right into the house if the door is open! Though I kick them out.. no chicky poopy is fun to step in!
