We got our 12" rubber tipped tweezers from a reptile supply that happens to be locally but for the life of me I can't remember the name. Others have recommended them and honestly, I would buy from them again...I'd just have to ask for their name again! LOL

I don't fee but if I did, I would be afraid of using hemostats. I don't know if it's possible or not but I wouldn't use hemostats for fear of not releasing the prey when they strike and I fling the poor snake across the room. At least with the tweezers, once you release the pressure the prey is released. And now you know why I don't feed! LOL

When turtle-sitting for my boss, the same thing happened to the poor turtle. This stupid thing would only eat if hand fed and so when my son fed the turtle, the turtle got the tip of his finger, son freaked out, turtle went flying. Thankfully I was at the right place at the right time and I was able to catch the turtle mid-air. Come Monday morning I still had a job! LOL
