I remember that happened to me once before. Dont remember it as powerey, but i think it could be from urates.

Helpful hint, use rubber gloves(eg cleaning yellow gloves) to remove stuck shed by hand as fingers are slippery. Give your snake a firm rub down to peel the shed off. (works even better when your snake has soaked a few hours.
