    Mealworm troubles...

I'm not breeding my own mealworms *yet* but when I get them from the pet store I cant seem to keep them alive for very long? I have them in a small critter keeper in about an inch of oatmeal+crushed granola, along with apple/potato slices. Theres only 1 dozen in there, and I only got them this afternoon, but it already seems like they are dying

    What are there temps?
How many hides do you have?
When did you last feed them?
Who did you buy them from?
    Was it a respectful breeder?
Maybe take them to a vet!

LOL! I have no idea.. Could be temps?

If these are king mealies too much wetness will kill them quickly.

The same thing is happening to me! They are becoming very sluggish and don't seem like they are going to hang in there very much longer.. when you find the answer habit, let me know!

The regular little meal worms can be stored in the fridge. They go dormant in the cold. Just put them in some oatmeal and pop them in there. When you take them out with in a few minutes they warm up and begin moving again. If they are superworms though the fridge will kill them.
