Update on my Rhac
I've had him/her three months or so now, took really well to CGD and the occasional crickets when I go to the LPS. He/she has grown considerably, and is normally jumpy, but I got a great picture while taking a photo session.

These things are definitely bullet proof if I can keep them alive! I love geckos and this one is definitely full of spunk, likes to be vocal and nip at me when handling.

They look so armored. Like preditorial dinosaurs or something.

He's pretty vicious! Or at least he thinks he is...only thing he attacks is his CGD.

Lookin good! Now that you rearranged his furniture, maybe I'll get to see him a lil more!

He looks great!
The nipping should abate in a few months. Babies tend to be more vocal and nippy. With gentle handling he should also get more used to you.
I have a 6m/o who was not handled very much, and he is VERY jumpy. It will take a while for him to get used to me, but it is well worth it. They are so freekin' cute!
Great pic!

I believe this one is just about 5 months old, and to be honest I don't handle him/her too much, basically its just a nice display animal for me, its right next to my computer. And I take him out occasionally to snap some photos. lol.
He's a riot to watch explore the cage.

Thanks Christie! After my first crestie experience I was hesitant to try another one, I just think that the other one was TOO young when I got it, never really saw it eat much of anything. This guy is a HOG.

I don't handle my animals much either. I know they probably enjoy it far less than I do. Although occasionally I'll handle my BP and he will clearly let me know that he does not want to be put back just yet, by climbing up my arm and refusing to sit still. LOL
Do you have any pictures of the enclosure to post? I always like seeing how other people set their vivs up.
One of my favorite things is to watch cresties "hunt" crickets. They look so serious about it, like "I, the mighty hunter, stalk my prey. Fear me!"
