First Time Taking My Baby Out
Hi everyone! It's been exactly 7 days since I got my first baby, so I decided to take him out for the first time to change the substrate and clean a little (and for a quick picture). He ate for me last thursday, and I was ecstatic. He has an amazing feeding response! After he's eaten a couple more times I will start slowly with some handling sessions, up until then, I will leave him alone to settle down completely. Here are a couple of pics of Pepe (today he turns two months old)

Thank you for the kind messages! It's good to know I'm off to a good start, this is my very first snake, and even though I spent months reading about them and their needs, sometimes I feel as if I haven't read anything at all LOL

Yea I know how you feel! I got my 1st bp two weeks age and he is 3 months old. Feels like you are constantly worried that somethins not right. And from what I understand, that feeling never goes away. Good luck to you and you BP.

I second that! I've had my BP Samson for maybe 2 months now and yesterday I picked up a female to pair him with further down the line... I've already got 3 morphs booked for Jan 2009....
Your little one looks great, maybe consider getting another ball to pair up with and then let them do what nature encourages and make some babies

Thank you! He really is pretty, I know he's just a normal, but that's all I can hope to get down here ^_^
I am desperate to get him out and handle him a bit, but I've decided to wait a few weeks until establishing a feeding routine... then I'll also try my hand (cause he has none) at F/T...
