I check their condition at least once a week when I'm cleaning. I still have a small enough collection they all get personal attention. I like them to feel solid with good muscular body mass. To me, the weight needs to be proportionate with the snake. Some are really slender and long, some are shorter and a look a little on the "husky" side.

Here's the chart with the females in red and males in blue. I personally find my females do grow faster, but I have a more females than males. As my data sample gets bigger with more snakes over time, there might be a correlation. I'll keep an eye on that :-)
