Thanks SnakieMom! It's an incomplete dominant trait. The heterozygous form is Sable and the homozygous form is Super Sable.

Thanks! I like his head pattern too! It wasn't like I had a bunch of these guys to pick from, but when I have a choice of animals, i.e., Spiders, Womas, etc., head pattern is one of the things I pay particular attention to.

He's a beauty! Very Nice pattern and dark colors. I usually am not fond of dark balls but he's awesome. Congrats.

We got him in today and he looks great! I took a bunch of pics and not a one of them is worth posting. I had a feeling this guy was going to be tough. Also, it didn't help that he was moving non stop. He's not shy and I couldn't get him to coil up to save my life!

Anyway, I'll try again in a few days or weeksand if I get something decent, I'll post it.

What a belly! They may not be good photos in your eyes because he's there with you but he still looks good to me.
