nice. I never thought about making my own hide out of wood. whoda thunk? of course, i don't think it's very washable like my plastic ones. Let us know how it holds up.

Yeah I scrubbed it pretty good and let it dry a bit.

Heh... I use those for my mice. The only way to get them really clean is to bleach them, so you should have a second set ready while the first is being cleaned.

Wouldn't there be an issue with the hide being made out of pine, and the oils being toxic to snakes like bedding?

I don't know why I'm the first one to point this out, but isn't that "hide" a little open? He has no privacy with that.

I'm putting the old one in. He has been out more than in which is different from the old one.

Think he likes the old one better.
