Urgent! Just fed live and she went for the slam dunk!

I just fed my ballan adult mouse and she got it no problem, but she slammed it into the water bowl, and it's just floating in there now. And it looks as if the ball doesnt relaize its in the water, he's like slithering allover the water bowl and under water, but he hasnt grabbed it with his mouth yet and try to eat it??? Is he going to eat it, or can he not detect it?? What should i do?? help

Take it out of the bowl. He may not eat it now though..

make sure it is warm, wiggle it around w/ some tongs and make sure its dry.

Haha, he ended up dragging it outa the water bowl and ate it. Took him a lil bit because this was an adult mouse(went a lil bigger this time). Buy after he swallowed the mouse he went back in his water dish and got into a ball and is swimming around under the water and on top and now he's just relaxing in the dish! I think its kinda funny lol

Mine always goes for a big drink once he eats, so maybe he was trying to skip a step. Pre-soaked rat!

Yeah the mouse was on the water dish sitting there just drinking a bit of the water. And right away my ball noticed..sat there for like 10 seconds...then striked, he ended up getting it right in the side of the neck. He then picked it up mid air almost and slammed it right in the water bowl lol...God i wish i coulda got that on video, or a pic.

One of my balls once grabbed a live mouse and went right into the water bowl with him and left him floating in the water after he put his head under water in an attempt to swallow the mouse. I removed the mouse from the water but he never did eat it.

Yeah my ball went underwater, grabbed it by the head(once it was floating there) and moved it so the rear of the mouse was hanging off the edge of the bowl. He then started swallowing it while like half submerged lol. Funny what some snakes do

QUESTION...? He's been sokaing for about the past hour after he ate. And he did something really weird..he would turn his head kinda sideways and rub against the bowl or the side of the tank glass or whatever he could rubb his head against...whats he doing????

I had a young carpet once coil and attempted to start eating the rat inside his water bowl. He'd start..and then stop like he kept running out of air. He did this about three times and then I ended up gently prodding him out of the water bowl with a snake hook, and he went into his hide (rat still coiled) and then finished his dinner.
