Oh yeah! I think you mentioned it in the 'Fellas of BPnet' thread! I have a short memory... just takes a little reminding and I'll usually get it, though! Best of luck to you! I've spoken with a few people who've gone through that procedure and they couldn't be happier! Can't wait to see your B&A pics in a few months!

    Re: Going under the knife!

    So, this is your choice.
You have already spoken with your doctors and your wife.
You have already spoken with yourself.
I'm sure you have already tried other ways of being physically healthy.
    This is your choice.
Rejoice that you are taking the first step toward a healthier you
Rejoice that you have a good wife standing by ready to welcome you back into consciousness
Rejoice that you had the bravery to tell others here about your journey and to ask for our well wishes
Rejoice that you are receiving well wishes
Rejoice that your wife won't be giving away your snake collection
Rejoice in knowing that you have made a difference on this forum without ever even realizing it!
Rejoice that we are all grown-ups and don't need 'cliques'
Good luck. I look forward to your speedy return!

I hope everything goes well and you'll be fine! You'll see! I'm always nervous before a surgery but it always works out! You'll feel better physically once you recover and probably feel better about yourself as well! I'll pray for ya!

Sending healing energy your way! I hope your surgery goes well. I'm on the last week of recovery from gall bladder surgery myself.

    Re: Going under the knife!

Whatever anxiety that you may have built up in your head right now you should just forget about. If you are having roux en y surgery by the orthoscopic method (the most common procedure) I can assure you that the procedure is really no big deal to have done. I had it over two years ago and I can tell you that you will be glad that you had it done.
