Great pictures. I wonder if you can find out what that's a fossil of - that would be neat. Maybe there's a prof at a local university that could tell you? I don't know I'm just always curious about that kind of stuff!

Hey maybe that clear blobby stuff in the oil is petroleum jelly? You know, Vaseline

The clear stuff was water running on top of the oil. It collected in giant pools then would tumble down the side. Very Interesting, to find out what it is, its definitely a vertebrate. almost looks like a fish.

This was my first thought as well. Now that Beverly Hillbillies song is stuck in my head.
