Re: SnakeBytesTV-Chewy's Back!!!!
To be honest when I saw it I thought the same thing about it not really being about snakes. Of course I want all the shows to be informative and as educational as they can. Part of the idea of the show is a look into our lives as well, so that's why I went with it. I don't think there'll be many shows that we do in the future that won't have snakes in them. Sorry to dissapoint you, I think you'll be happy with next week??? It's all about eggs and egg production. Thanks, Brian(BHB)

Re: SnakeBytesTV-Chewy's Back!!!!
God, I hate saying anything negative about snakebyte's because it's UNBELIEVABLE FANTASTICALLY SUPERFRAGILITISTICALY COOL that you guys are doing this...
I just really want it to be the best quality episodes possible so that y'all will get picked up by maybe Animule Planet or something...
Chewy as played by Bruce Spence!
Brian as played by Ryan Phillipe!
Lori as played by Kristin Scott Thomas!
I think big.
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

I dont think you said anything negative. You just voiced your opinion and thats kewl. yeah, it was a vid that had nothing to do about snakes, but to see the behind the scene antics and family atmosphere to contributes to all those snakes being taken care of produced is fun too. I thought it showed a neat aspect to the BHB enterprise. steps of soapbox now.

Re: SnakeBytesTV-Chewy's Back!!!!
I thought it was a pretty funny and entertaining show. I realize it didn't say much about snakes, although they did throw that boa part in, but I also realize that the show is kind of a hybrid between a reality show and an educational show about snakes and reptiles. I think it is hard for them to do one 5-minute show covering both, so they flip back and forth between reality episodes and educational ones. I have a feeling that if they were doing a half-hour or hour-long show, they could fit both subjects into a single episode.

I look at it like the next Miami Ink.. Just with snakes.. Surprised you have not been aproached with this yet??!!
With guests poppin in and such plus ya get to learn about the cast and the snakes all at the same time.. I thought it was cool.
I mean hech west coast chopper made it?? Just by doing their jobs.. Why not? like someone had all ready said.. "Think Big"

Re: SnakeBytesTV-Chewy's Back!!!!
I actually loved it. Sort of like a blooper, or outtake, reel that you often times want to see to check out the personalities of the people behind the script.
I dug it that you did this en homage to Chewy's return- would have been pretty disjointed if he just showed up in some random manner.
Behind every healthy snake in captivity are the keepers of those healthy snakes; they deserve air time.
Lastly: Fun is healthy. Mentally healthy. Keep the good times rolling and the snakes healthy

Lori has a way of stealing the show with her understated presence!
