When breeding season roles around, I take about a week and go through all my females and get their weights and check their records, and if they look like they are in great shape and weight, I will go ahead try to bred them in consecutive years, but If I have the slightest doubt of the health or overall condition of the female, I will give her the year off.....on a side note.....Young boas rebound faster from pregnancy than larger older ones, so it all depends on age, size and how well they rebounded from the previous year, most of my larger females I do give them a year off unless I feel that they are ready......and If I mess up and a female is not ready to breed again, she will tell you by not ovulating......Thanks agian everyone for all the kind comments!!
