    Hey all you Texans...

Just wondering if anybody knows any interesting herp related things to do in the Dallas area. I have some cousins there and was thinking about seeing if I could go visit in August. And maybe I can get my cousin to drive me to somewhere cool.

I figure, the south is herp country, so might as well try and check some stuff out while I'm there... I'm even willing to deal with heat stroke.

Im originally from Houston 4 hours south of Dallas ( I have fam in Arlington) Anywho... All you really need to do is walk outside...hehe our yard and all the local parks were always full of snakes (lots of corral snakes), lizards & toads. Oh, and loads of armadillos. Just pull up a chair and keep ur eyes peeled.

Dallas isn't too bad... Not as humid as it is further south. You'll survive.

Hah I wasn't really serious... I've been there in August before. And yes I do intend on going field herping!

I always thought it would be great to go poke around Buffalo TX... between Houston and Dallas... Amazing countryside!
Grey Scale is a good thing...
