    Active after feeding?

Is it common for a bp to be normally active after feeding? Usually Shinobi takes it easy after eating but tonight he is fairly active considering I fed him earlier this evening.

    Re: Active after feeding?

You sure he's not still hungry? That's the first reason they would still be active after a meal. Other reasons might include 'searching' for a good place to settle, or being upset by something different (temp, humidity, etc.) in their enclosure.

I guess maybe he could want another. I didn't want to overstuff him. Would it be okay if I gave him another mouse tomorrow?

    Re: Active after feeding?

Hmm... Personally I would wait until next week's feeding and offer him two then. He won't starve in the meantime, and I wouldn't want to interfere with digestion.

I'll agree with Argentra. Just wait till next week and I'm sure your snake might want another. Is there anything different about this feeding then any other?

nope, all the same, temps and all. Is it possible to overfeed in one sitting? I would hate to make him sick : /

    Re: Active after feeding?

How large is he and what are you currently feeding him? I.E. what size/type of prey?

    Re: Active after feeding?

he's about 2 feet long, I weighed him last thursday and he weighed 208g but on monday right before feeding he weighed 195g.... dunno if thats normal, maybe he was still digesting. Anyway, I've been giving him 1 adult mouse per feeding.
