Wow I was so afraid for her just looKing at the picture. I'm so glad she recovered and still can see!!!!

Yes as am I I was more scared that an infection would set in and we would be battling that.

Did you put anything on the eye at all, or did you just leave it be?

I think this is a good post because it can show how much trauma a lil snake can go through, and still pull through perfectly fine!

I did not put any thing on it at the risk of transferring something from my hand to the open wound.

She looks fantastic Ed, great job we did with her! Sure makes one think though about doing a quick check on the inside of hides to just make sure they don't have a burr like yours did and cause this sort of injury. I'm so glad she's fully healed and that eye looks just perfect again.

Yes indeed in the first photo the eye actually looks punctured and in the last photo perfectly fine. A happy occurrence.

Yea you should have seen me I was shaking I was so upset. But shes all healed now so its all good.
