    Red Lights of Death...

I'm playing Grand Theft Auto 4 for a little bit before I go to dinner tonight and all of a sudden it freezes.. I'm thinkin' ok whatever. I turn it back on and BAM! 3 red lights! So now I will be without the beloved 360 for over a month.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

if you didnt already ship it to microsoft, find someone on craigslist to fix it. I had mine fixed for $40 and back in one day. Microsoft sucks when it comes to fixing this.

I think I have been really lucky because I have an original release-day 360 that has never had a problem. My uncle had 3 replacements and 2 of my friends had 1 and 2 replacements.

I second this, have them Flash it too, so you can play modded games and roms!

Is your 360 still under warranty with Microsoft??

My Elite broke 2-3 months ago and They sent me a repair box, and I shipped it back to them. I got a new one back 18 days later. I didn't get the RROD problem, my Drive messed up and couldn't play anything.

Thats probably not the best move....The new 360 model with have a Blu Ray player guaranteed.

PS3's only is free...but 360's only is better

Actually Microsoft refuses to acknowledge they are in talks with Sony to market a 360 with a built in or with an external Bluray player.
