Indeed the internet is full of conflicting information about feeding, temps, enclosure size, handling and everything else. As a newbie I have found this site to be a place where people are welcoming and willing to help one another. There is also much less elitism and latent hostility that can be found elsewhere.
I've found this to be startlingly true lately.
I have to hug each and every one of you that get online, come here and go out of your way to treat everyone you meet here with the same courtesy and respect you would expect in return.

I love how there can be debating, without personal attacks. Whether that subject be politics, religion, or snake husbandry.

There's enough humbleness, kindness and common courtesy here that makes me always come back the next day.

Even when we get stressed out over a thread, we walk away, read others comments, and generally keep things from turning into an all out piss fight. (I say GENERALLY, because sometimes this isn't the case, but is usually a direct result from something that happens on other forums).

People can disagree here, and usually agree to disagree at some point. Without too much blood shed.

Newbies come to ask questions and will receive a multitude of answers. From old pro's, intermediates, or other newbies alike.

I think the welcoming atmosphere in this forum has given this place a strong edge over over forums.

A kind word goes farther than a snide remark.

Good job peeps!
