If your snake is a healthy juvenile, then go for large hoppers or small adult mice.
    It's a fuzzy mouse.

Alrighty. If he's been eating pinkies, and now fuzzies.. He's been being grossly underfed. After 2-3 feedings with fuzzy mice, bump him up to at least a large hopper mouse. He's using more energy constricting, swallowing and digesting that fuzzy mouse, than he's getting from it, so he's just going to lose weight and remain small. Yes, their necks may look thin, but he can swallow at least a large hopper, if not a small adult mouse(15-20g at least). Then he can start to GROW

Well the vet is the one that told me " the place you bought your python from could have been getting fed pinkies all this time". But i had went and talked to the guy that takes cares of all the reptiles at the pet shop and he said they were feeding him hoppers this whole time. It's my fault because alot got lost in translation, i am new to this whole "understanding the different types of feeder mice" heres what they've been feeding him and this is what i fed him last friday:

it turns out to be a 12 gram hopper, so im sorry about the lil bit of confusion, i was the one who didnt know my stuff..so to speak lol

and gas build up is basically fine, it just means he may be making some gross farty noises soon hee. stinky mouse farts.
And you can probably feed him small adult mice, most ball babies are born big enough to eat full grown mice. pinky mice are a waste of money unless your particular ball is really picky or severly underweight. If his thickest part of his body is about the width of a quarter, he can eat an adult mouse. you can ask them at the store for a smaller one, usually they can accomedate requests.
In the post I was referring to it was stated that "THEY" were giving him pinky mice. That would be the person the poster got the snake from, not the original poster. I was not being snide toward anyone. Thanks

Yeah when i first got my bp I fed a pinky once. Then realized that those were just too small and moved to adult mice or rat fuzzies whichever I could readily find. Kinda sad I had a small rtb that I had a pinky/fuzzy mouse for but she didnt eat so i gave it to my 800 gram ball. Sad to say it was kinda funny because she didnt know how to react when she had it in her mouth (she coiled the air) but sad because she ate it alive I wont ever do that again I felt bad afterwards.

Damn, that's small. How big is your snake(weight/age)...and I wouldn't really worry about it too much unless he regurges (which is bad)

My snake is about 3 months old, and as for that picture. The mouse i last fed her was about half an inch to three quarters longer than that pic. I was going to post the next biggest mouse after that one i posted but it looked big so i posted this one cuz it looked the closest in size to what i fed her, but what i fed her was a little bit bigger. The mouse i fed her was about 2 3/4 inches long..if that helps at all.
