    3 siamese

Just a picture I liked of my 3 siamese rats. They're female, so they are not as dark pointed as males are, but still pretty impressive to me. All I have had before these girls were himalayan, and the darkness of the points on a himalayan is nothing like a good siamese.

Unfortunately, I can't hold back any males at this point in time. I have 6 as it is.

The foremost girl is a Russian blue siamese that I am so proud of lol, but it is hard to capture, even more so on a female. Perhaps she will give me a nice male R. blue siamese in the future.

    Edit:

One more picture that sort of captured the difference between the R. Blue girl and her sister the seal point siamese.

They are adorable, I am jealous and if I was closer I would just ratnap one of them

Deb you can ratnap as many as you'd like. I swear every other litter either has tons of himalyans, or the few and far between siamese. They really are quite pretty, and it's always a nice to see another little dark butt siamese in a litter.

Those are holdback females. I havent yet named the two younger ones, but the oldest is Sierra. (yes I know... I spend too much time with the rats)

    Re: 3 siamese

What are the genetics of the Siamese rats? I have one breeding with an albino and the babies are consistently albino, so I assume its recessive?
