    Worried!

    Hello,
Well my BP ate Thursday and hes not been the same since. I'm really worried now cause I have never seen him act the way hes acting now. This was the first time I have ever fed him an adult mouse. All he does now is stay in his hide. He doesn't even come out at night. Anyone knows if this is normal?

Normal. At least for a couple of days after eating. Maybe not that long, but was it bigger than normal? Mine usually chill in their hide for 48+ hours after eating.

Totally normal! That's what a healthy, settled-in BP does. They sleep and digest. When that meal is fully digested and the snake starts to feel the urge to eat again, you'll see him poking around again in the evenings.

Yes. It's fine. He may be shifting around a bit in the wee hours of the night while you're asleep and you're just not seeing it. Mine has disappeared (into her hides) for days and days at a time. And during shed, you'll see the same thing...vanishing into their little caves and not coming out for quite awhile.

    Re: Worried!

Idk if my BP is just lazy or they just don't like to do anything, but my BP never leaves his hide or hiding place. He'll either always be in his warm side hide, or on the cool side where he likes to go under this fake tree thingy I have in there, he hates the cool side hide.

Right when I pick up my BP and then put him down anywhere like on my bed and I'm holding him, he'll just run off of me and into the sheets and hide in there.

Okay so then is it okay for me to pick him up and just chill with him for a while and put him back?

Should be fine. After 4 days, should be totally ok.
