    Feeding My Royal

    Hi

I'm currently feeding my Royal on one large mouse per week, would it be ok to feed it every 5 days instead of 7?

She's currently over 2 foot and about 4-5 months old.

Many forum members choose to feed a prey size that is 10% of the snake's weight- and they feed every 7 days. Do you know how much your snake weighs? Do you think she is still hungry?

OMG, that has got to be the biggest ball python EVER! :-) Lols, I assume you mean 200 grams.

How big are the mice? If they are small mice then every 5 days would be fine, if they're bigger the python should be good as is. (The 10-15% of bodyweight every week is a good figure).

If she's not hunting for more, that could be a good indicator that she is content with what she is getting.

    Sorry I meant 200 gramms

She's taking 1 large mouse a week at the moment.
