New ringer morphs?!?!
I am looking regularly at forums. This forum is nice. I'd like to tell about
my regius. About 4-5 years ago we looked around a lot for farmbred ringers
in Germany. In the end we chose 1.2 ringers; hoping they may be geneti
They are terribly difficult eaters. Pfffff. All the same we got 5 eggs from
them last year. I'm proud of them because 4 are clearly ringers and one half
ringer. I guess that is because 1 is normal and 2.2 genetic. At first I
couln't believe it; I checked every other day till they were shedding. Then
I left them alone. How is it possible... Wow..:-)) Last year I showed them
to a well-known breeder. He thinks they are not ringers but a new morph.
:-)). A pity is that they are also bad eaters, like their mother. Four of
them get more and more yellow on the belly. I think they are going to be
just like their mother.
I do hope the mother will be having good eggs from her son in the future.
Wait and see if they get super morphs. Very exiting....

Re: New ringer morphs?!?!
Wow, very interesting, check out the FLAMES on that thing, very nice!! From what I have heard from some bigger breeders is that the Ringer doesn't really prove out genetic, you might get another ringer or two from a set of offsprings, but there is really no pattern. So getting 4 out of 5 "ringers" from a clutch, is pretty outstanding. I know those are some really cool snakes, looks new in my book, hopefully it proves out that way. Good luck!! And great find either way!!
Custom reptile and amphibian enclosures! As well as other custom wood working.

Moderator, sorry I added double pictures, because I am not familiar with
this forum. It is not quite right like this.
Regards.

Thanks, I got them years ago from Germany. I picked them from appr. 200
farmbred ringers. I felt that 2 females were special. The shopkeeper wanted
to sell me 1.2 ringers :-)).. I think it's a nice challenge.. A couple of
years ago I bred hets piebald. That gave 2 ringers as well. But their
patterns are quite different from the four I bred now. I have to be patient
for another long year. Rrrrrrrrr.

:-)) Thanks. The problem may be that I want to keep them myself. Another breeder is also asking to get some.
:-P.
I am really excited. If they are what I hope, I can breed them nicely with
other morphs. Thrilling!
