UTH questions!? Someone please help!??

Alright guys i have a few questions. I have a 20 gallon tank right now. I have an infared 75watt bulb on the warmside which is on 24/7/ I have a hide box on the warmside with my accurite probe which is under the substrate taped to the glass bottom where the UTH is under. And on the coolside i have a nightglo bulb which is on a thermastat and is turned all the way down.(just for a lil bit of supplemental heat to help with the cool side) I just went to lowes and bought a Lutron dimmer and hooked my UTH into it and put it on the lowest setting right now and will adjust accordingly. But i have a few questions"

1) My ball is always usually in the cooler side hide all day(during the light hours) And then around 7:30pm he comes out and is out until about 10ish and he will at certain times go into the warmside hide but only for about half an hour to an hour. Is this normal? And should i move my UTH over to the coolside under the coolside hide?? Because i want him to get belly heat since he is always over on the coolerside.

2) What would be the best setup regarding my 75watt infared, the UTH, and the nightglo 50watt bulb for my 20 gallon??

MY TEMPS ARE:
COOLSIDE- (79-81) FLUCTUATES
WARMSIDE- (86-90) fLUCTUATES
HUMIDITY- (58-65%)

A lot going on here. I would not move the UTH under the cool side hide. If your snake is never using the hot side hide it's just too hot there. Don't make it too hot on the cool side too. I found out that I don't need lights at all in a twenty long to maintain heat. This was a huge breakthrough for me.

Is the tank insulated? What's on the top?

My guys chill in the cool side a lot. Every once in a while they'll move to the warm side, especially during shed for some reason. As long as the look and feel healthy and still eating, I'd keep it like it is.

You may want to get a t-stat for the UTH instead of a dimmer, would just seem safer to me.

The warmside digital thermometer is always reading between 86-89 on the warmside, and the probe which is under the warmside hide under the substrate reads 92.2 mostly all the time. Thats not too hot is it?

Ohh yead, i got the 50watt nightglo bulb in a lamp on the coolside, and a 75watt redbulb on the warmside and i moist but not wet towel in the middle with a big book on top of it.
