Thanks. She was bred to my cinny. I couldn't believe how deflated she was after that clutch, but she's eating pretty well now.

This is an interesting thread, though. I wonder what age was the oldest female breeder? I'm not sure if I'm going to try and breed her again. I know breeding takes a lot out of them and I wouldn't want to risk her health the older she gets.

    Nice heather!

My oldest must be our WC. She came in gravid, so I peg her around 5 years old, with her size and all. But you never really know...

Wow, shes a big girl About how old is the little guy (or girl) that you have pictured with her? Just curious- but wow, she is big.. I think that my big girl is close though- probably only about 500g's behind except for mines about 7... Still has quite a bit to go before shes that 'young'.. But I hope she will be- if not even older!! Could you imagine owning a 40year old BP? Its mind boggling

Re: How old is your oldest BP?

20?+ wc male. He ended up in an exhibit in southern Iowa for snakes and lizards. He just got enourmous, and he was completely unhandleable, so he couldn't be kept in a normal household anymore. Didn't have him long either. To be honest, I did not like that snake. But I was very little when he came about. He was imported and estimated to be 10-20 years old in '94, but it was relatively vague.

Could have just been a big boy for all I know. I dunno how old he is now.
Stand up for what's right, even if you're standing alone.
I'm clearly the only crazy person here
