Can i get your guy's input!? Ball stressed,curious,etc!!?

Whats up everyone, ive had my ball for a lil over a week now, just fed yesterday, was 100% successful live feed & only took around 3 mintues. But anyways i had a question..My balls usual everyday schedule is from morning til throughout the day he stays in the coolerside hide. Around 7pm when it starts to get dark he comes out for his stroll of the night, usually lasts from 7 till 9ish or maybe a lil later. He goes from the cool side to warmside lays in the warmside for bout an hour or a lil longer, then he goes and explores i guess. That consists of moving around the tank and today he came out and was exploring but he kept going near the top of the tank to where the screens at and kept poking around and then he would poke around the glass for a little while. Is he stressed or trying to get out or what? It sorta bothers me. I mean my temps are as follows:
warmside- 88-89
warmside bask spot-91 (which is under the warmside hide)
coolside- 79-81
Humidity%- 64
*And note these are consistent temps;dont fluctuate at all really.
Is my ball ok/happy/ or just super curious? Does anyones balls do this!? Your inputs greatley appreciated!

- Big tree Branch over the one hide box on the cold side
- (2) *Dome style light on warmside {has a 75 watt infared bulb}
*Dome style light on coldside {50 watt nightglo bulb turned all the way down with thermastat but is on during the day along with the infared}
- (2) Digital Thermometer's {one on lower warmside/one on lower coolside *thermometer on warmside has a humidity gauge too*
- Accurite thermometer with probe under the substrate thats under the warmside hide.
- Zoomedic manual thermostat
-under tank heater on warmside {covers only a lil over a 1/4 of tank}

From what I can gather it sounds like he's just thermoregulating.

I put this tropical vine thing i bought today n' it has suction cups on it and i ran it along the top edge of my cage up near the screen on the warm side. And it goes from the top, runs along the edge, and goes down to the ground of the enclosure. My ball just went up the vine along the top and layed right under the infaredfor like 10 mins then went back down the vine and back to the coolside hide..lol..kinda weird to me,..maybe not lol

Yeah, just sounds like thermo regulating.

Anyone else? So she's thermo-regulating by the description i gave? I just dont want her to be stressed or trying to get out because of something not being right in the terr. Ohh yeah..and my ball usually yawns acouple times a day, doesnt got any white slimy stuff around his mouth and i dont thin kive heard any popping or weezing sounds. Is that normal for a ball to do that acouple times a day?

Chances are he's thermoregulating, as said above, or he's just cruising around. If he's heated by an overhead heat source, he may be trying to check it out (don't let him touch it). Snakes "see" heat, and sometimes they go to the hottest thing in the room just because. It doesn't always mean they're cold or anything. If he's a younger snake, he might just be checking things out.

Thanks alot for your post Lowen, I needed some responses on this because i just want the best for my ball and dont want it to be stressed out because of something i did. Yeah he's usually on the cooler side at the top poking at the nightglo light. Sometimes she'll go over to the warmside during her night stroll and get to the top via vine and poke around near the top of that side too near the warmside light.
