Boas and Balls are both great snakes. I hope this gets resolved to the good of all. The neck did not look right to me either and I'm not an expert. All the advice here has been good and CV Exotics seems willing to work with you.

If you want a cheep solution to the cage problem. Get that sweater box someone else mentioned. Drill some air-holes. Put your heatpad under it with your thermostat. Put his water bowl in and a hide or two. Put some bungees across the top to hold it on. You can do a search on here under tubs to get some pics of this. That will hold him until your new "custom" cage comes. They only cost $8.00
or so.
