Good eye, the flash removed the shadow under the tank, that's why it looks like it's right on the table.
I checked the heat on the tape and it's only slightly warm, I don't think it'll cause problems, do you? It's a 50 infrared I got in there.

heyy i got the exact same tank and hides and water dish as you!! maybe cause I am from toronto? lol, where did you get your stuff from?

I got the tank from Captain Dragon Reptiles and the bowl/hides from a small pet shop here, as well as the plants etc.
