So did you have to fill out something to claim it?? Im still on my parents insurance so I guess I am still considered a dependent? I think that means I cant get it? Lol would be nice to get free money. Isnt it like $600 or something? I heard people talking about it at work but didnt have time to ask much about it...

If you made over a certain amount and filed federal taxes for the year it is just sent to you. You can look it up on line. Not sure of the link address

Nope they are going by the last 2 numbers of your social security number

See we were both right. It did depend on how you filed and it does go out by SS#..
