    Re: Pre-shed

What's the humidity in the cage or tub? I ask only because each time my little boa sheds, it's like my other snakes: sort of rolled like... well, like a condom Yours looks like she's splitting and her face shed seems incomplete. Is this the way it is? Again, the very first shed with my boa I had my humidity too low (the shed surprised me) and it was a poor shed that came off in pieces and with my help!!
The color on your boa looks gorgeous!! I can't wait to see a post-shed picture

Yea her humidiatity was a little low. I guess that when i went on a work trip for a week she started shedding and when i got back it was low but i have it all taken care of now and her shed is looking a lot better.

That's awesome you got it all taken care of!! Like I said, my little one went from blue to shed and I had no idea (though this was when she was still crazazy and I was scared to even touch her!!!)
I can't wait to see yours when she's all finished

    Re: Pre-shed

She is still a little crazy, but she also just got home 2 weeks ago and is now in shed but i just couldnt help holding her a couple of times(which i may add in her striking at me quite a few times, which is understandable).

    Re: Pre-shed

She looks like she already tried to shed and was unsuccesfull...her skin does look a little dehydrated as well.

Try bumping up the humidity or soaking her in luke warm water and letting her run through your hands (or a semi-moist towel) to get the excess skin off
